The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is ready to kick off a new edition of its annual show, this year celebrating a milestone in the area’s marine traditions. FLIBS commemorates its 60th anniversary introducing the new Superyacht Village, a must-see exhibition space and exclusive marina accommodating yachts up to 400 feet. It will feature exhibits by renowned shipyards, yacht “toys” like helicopters (Airbus), personal submarines, and collectible automobiles led by Ferrari, Maserati, Overfinch bespoke Range Rovers, and exotic vehicles.
The Superyacht Village will display the most spectacular yachts in the world of yachting, including the highly-anticipated world debut of Lürssen’s 311-foot Madsummer and the U.S. debut of Heesen Yacht’s 180-foot Vida, along with other show-stopping megayachts.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for this Wednesday at 9:30 am at Superyacht Village Restaurant Lounge, Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina’s new “Pier South” property, adjacent to the southeast corner of 17th Street Causeway Bridge and 2150 SE 17th Street.
The ceremony will officially kick off the FLIBS 2019 edition where boat & yacht enthusiasts from all over the world will enjoy a large display of some of the world’s most spectacular vessels, exhibits with the industry’s latest boats and yachts of all sizes, and a mixture of marine products and accessories.
Dubai’s only superyacht builder is entering the U.S. market for the first time with the debut of the Majesty 140 and Majesty 100 at the 2019 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Majesty Yachts provides outstanding quality, craftsmanship, and personalization with the attractive benefit of timely delivery. Majesty’s yachts are distinguished by expansive deck areas and large indoor/outdoor flybridges; extendable balconies; fully equipped water sports garages; and beach clubs, where guests can be closer to the water.
But the list of exhibitors this year presenting very high-quality products is exponentially large, among them Freedom Lift, Scout Boats, Staniel Air & Exuma Adventures, 26 North Yachts, 4ocean Llc, 727 Sailbags, Abaco Beach Resort & Boat Harbor Marina, Acryfin Coatings, Albury Brothers Boats, and All Florida Yacht Sales.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will happen from October 30 to November 3. It is located steps from the beach in sunny Fort Lauderdale and will feature 1,200+ exhibitors featuring 1,500+ boats on display. Products range from sunglasses to superyachts and everything in between. The new Virgin Train system will also make it easier for show-goers to travel to the “Yachting Capital of the World,” offering special discounts that range between 10 and 25%. The show also offers complimentary shuttles to and from Virgin Trains Station to Riverside.
